Maria has been playing the French Horn for eight years and is the Principle Horn Player Cleveland and Youngstown Youth Orchestras. Being a musician allows Maria to speak without words, and to listen more than anything else. Maria says that the Horn changes her life everyday: She learns to work hard, to teach, and to be grateful.

Kelly Aguilar is the President of Tri-M Music Honor Society at her high school and has participated in several youth orchestras, including the Long Island, Metropolitan, and Gemini Youth Orchestras. According to Kelly, music is one of the most eloquent expressions of our humanity. Music inspires her because it is a way to truly define oneself.

Bella Petz

Vocal
Bella is the Treasurer of Tri-M Music Honor Society at her high school and she has experience working in a plethora of different musicals. Bella has been working in musical theater productions for over seven years. According to Bella, the ability to express herself vocally has always been something that she finds powerful. She finds that music helped her find herself as a person.

Jacob Hejazi

Violin
Jacob is the Orchestra Manager at his school and has been playing the violin for ten years. He attended the Michigan Music Conference and feels passionate about music because it helps connect people all over. Jacob feels that music is a universal language that gathers people together into a loving community.

Percussion
Maria has been playing the drum for the past four years, and mallet percussion for two years. Through music, she has been able to meet new people and form an important community. Maria feels that playing music also helps put energy and focus into a positive activity, helping with stress. Maria spends her time as a drum instructor and participates in Concert and Jazz Band.

Ethan Kelly

Trumpet
Ethan has been playing the Trumpet for eight years and was the Principle Chair in the Ohio Band Directors Conference for Honor Band. Music has always helped Ethan express feelings he has that he cannot directly speak. Ethan believes that it is a connection to the heart and he has always loved expressing myself as a musician for all who want to hear.
